We made it through winter! Come out and join us for a short spin along the East River, around Roosevelt Island, up by Astoria Park, and end with lunch at the Bohemian Beer Garden. Hopefully the Cherry Trees and Magnolias will be in bloom and we'll get to say "hi spring!" 🌸

This ride will be a beginner friendly, 12 mile, party-paced ride, (complete with photo stops), almost entirely on protected bike lanes.

The Route: (link to GPX route)
Meet at 10:30am. Wheels roll at 11:00 am.

  • The ride starts on the west bank of the East River, at the Andrew Haswell Green Park. From there we'll ride across the Queensboro Bridge, up and around Roosevelt Island (where we'll stop for pictures), then up by Astoria Park, and finally end at the Bohemian Beer Garden for lunch and hanging out.

  • Note - we will be sitting outside at the beer garden, so bring clothing appropriate for outdoor eating.

What to bring:
- Your bike! :-) If you haven't ridden this winter, make sure you check your bike before coming out. Tire pressure? No flats? Chain good?
- Light jacket or something to keep warm if you get cold sitting outside (the beer garden at the end is outside).

Transit:
- The end location is 1 block from the N train
