Free Natural Hot Spring Trip
Details
Don't know what to do on New Year's Eve? Join me on a journey that washes away all bad things in 2025 and enters 2026 while relaxing in the arms of Mother Nature, and on an adventure on the first day of the year of the horse. I know most of you hate the outdoors, but the more people we have on this trip, the more activity we can have. If this caught your attention, then keep reading. Please note that this event will be canceled if nobody signs up 36 hours before the start time.
As my own tradition, the moment you get into the new year defines how this year will be. So I am always looking for a fun and unique way to celebrate the new year. This year, I came up with a budget-friendly option, but it will be boring to go with just one person. The plan is to head to Marcel Spring, a natural hot spring located not far from Lake Isabella. There are natural hot spring pools built for people to enjoy. We get there at dusk, then have a relaxing hot spring evening while we say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026 under the stars. The original plan is to head back after midnight. However, if there are more than 2 people, and would be okay with sharing a hotel room. We might be able to stay in Lake Isabella for the night and explore Silver City Ghost Town, and take some photos the next day. Carpooling is recommended since it's gonna be a 3-hour drive from LA. Please be advised that this is an adventure trip. I haven't been there before in person and know nothing except a little research on the map and the internet. It might require a little bit of hiking to get to the pool. And might not have a cellular signal as well. If you have been there before or have any knowledge of the place. Please don't hesitate to comment.
If you want to join me on this adventure, please bring a bathing suit, a towel, food, and warm clothes. A flashlight, headlamp, or camping light would also be super useful. Please be sure to be able to take care of yourself since this will be an adventure in the wilderness. Attendees might be asked to sign a waiver before attending. I will try to do more research and host a Zoom meeting before the event. If you have any questions, please comment.
