San Francisco Game Developers Conference Brony Meet

Are you a brony living around or visiting the San Francisco Bay Area this week and love to play video games? Come join us!
The Game Developers Conference is in the city this week and we're holding a meetup to close it all off! It's open to all gamer bronies, so you don't even have to be a GDC attendee! However, if you are a in the gaming industry: We'd love to meet you! See you there, and remember to bring your portable gaming devices!

We'll be meeting up at Metreon, right next to the Moscone Center where GDC is, so it's easy to get to for attendees! For everyone else: Various public transit is available nearby, like the Powell BART station up 4th street at Market and the SF CalTrain station down 4th street at King.

We will be in the new Dining Terrace on the first floor of Metreon. There's a LOT of seats available, so hopefully it won't be too busy so we can stake out a spot for us (all 30-or-so of us). Please be on your best behavior: Metreon has been known to have some pretty strict security!

We're currently expecting to stay around for about 2 hours, and some of us are looking to watch John Carter that night, but no word on before or after the meet. If you also have any suggestions for all of us to go to: Do tell! One of the only places of interest in the area would be the GameStop on Powell St. (There's no real good places to shop for ponies in the city, unfortunately)

What will we be doing for 2 hours or so? Eating in the new food court (otherwise we'd be loitering, so do buy something when you're there if you can!), chatting about games & ponies, and playing on our portable devices! And you WILL want to bring your 3DS & Vitas: Who knows what you'll find with StreetPass during GDC, and I hear that there's a lot of gifts dropped around the area on the Near app!

For GDC attendees: Other ponies will be on the expo floor too! Check the comments below for others who'll be there and go plan something between yourselves if you wish during the conference!
