What we’re about
The purpose of this meetup group is to give Bernie Sanders supporters and other progressive persons in the Brooklyn area the chance to discus, define and clarify a progressive political agenda for the future both at a national and at a local level. The other goal is to engage both the community and the political forces in this discussion.
Too many Americans seems to be caught in a spiral of diminishing expectations where they seem to look forwards only to: more guns and larger SUVs. It is essential for progressives to present a well thought out vision of the future for our children and grandchildren where everyone can expect a productive good quality life in a society that is both just and free. Who should join this group: Bernie Sanders supporters, Progressives, Progressive Democrats, Greens, Persons who do not feel represented by the major parties.
