6th (Semi) Annual Smutty Booketh Club Renaissance Faire Trippeth!
Details
Heareth ye, heareth ye all Maidens, Wenches, Heroes & Rogues, we're going to the Time Travelers' Weekend at the Renaissance Faire!
Join us on September 9th when we take our 6th trip to the Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo Park NY. Come dressed as your favorite being from any realm or time you choose! It is, after all, a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey… stuff.
There is parking available if you choose to drive. Go to this site for driving directions:[ http://renfair.com/ny/directions-weather/bus-from-nyc/](https://web.coachusa.com/shortline/booking.asp?action=ProductDetail&TRP=1&productId=3167)
There are also buses that leave from Port Authority around 9am, that drop us off & pick us up at approximately 6:30pm, right in front of the Faire.
You can buy tickets online or purchase in person. If you buy the bus ticket combo, be sure to PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION and go to the ticket office the morning of to collect your bus ticket. This takes FOREVER. So we encourage you to arrive at 8:30am for the bus. The website says 10am, but that is the last bus. If you are on the last bus, you need to go to Woodbury Commons first. You want to be on one of the first buses. Plus it takes time to pick-up your ticket from the ticket window in the south building and walk to the 4th floor gates. Last year the first bus left at 9:15 am so be on time! Go to this site for more info about getting the bus: https://web.coachusa.com/shortline/booking.asp?action=ProductDetail&TRP=1&productId=3167
Some of us are going to the 2:30 pm joust. You can pre-purchase tickets here: https://www.showclix.com/event/vip-joust-seating-new-york-renaissance-faire
The Vendors do accept credit cards, but bring cash just in case. There are plenty of food booths with something for everyone. Go the Ren Faire sight for more information: http://renfair.com/ny/
This is Rain or Shine. If you have any questions, please let me know. Hope to see you there! Huzzah!
PS: Everyone that signs up will get a message with Erin or Dawn's cell phone so we can find you at the bus terminal. Cell service is really spotty at the Faire itself, so let us know how you're getting to the Faire so we can have a meetup plan.
