About us
If you read romance and erotica. If you live, work, or play in Park Slope. Then this is the book club for you! This is the sister to Manhattan's Smutty Book Club and International (aka Virtual) Smutty Book Club. We read, talk, laugh, eat and drink.
It has come to our attention that someone has been using the name of Smutty Book Club and its organizers to invite people to for-profit events. Smutty Book Club (SBC) & Brooklyn Smutty Book Club (BSBC) are strictly social clubs and do not profit off of events. No fees are collected to participate in SBC or BSBC. All official Club events will always be listed on the Meetup.com website. All Club communication will come through the Meetup.com website. If you receive any solicitation for an event or receive communication outside of Meetup, asking for a fee - it is a SCAM. Please let us know if you have any concerns. Thank you
Brooklyn Smutty Book Club is in-person. We meet at Paddy's of Park Slope.
Paddy's makes great drinks, but they don't serve food. Feel free to bring your dinner or order in!

BROOKLYN Smutty Book Club - D'Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding
Paddy's of Park Slope, 273 13th Street, Brooklyn, NY, USThe book for June is D'Vaughn & Kris Plan A Wedding by Chencia C. Higgins. Maria recommended it. She says it's a sexy sapphic book about a couple that fake date for a reality tv show. Fun!
Quick housekeeping note: Scammers have been using the name of Smutty Book Club and its organizers to invite people to for-profit events. If you receive any solicitation for an event or receive communication outside of Meetup asking for money, then it is a scam. Please let us know if you see anything suspicious.
Now back to D'Vaughn & Kris Plan A Wedding:
. Instant I Do could be Kris Zavala’s big break. She’s right on the cusp of really making it as an influencer, so a stint on reality TV is the perfect chance to elevate her brand. And $100,000 wouldn’t hurt either.
. D’Vaughn Miller is just trying to break out of her shell. She’s sort of neglected to come out to her mom for years, so a big splashy fake wedding is just the excuse she needs.
. All they have to do is convince their friends and family they’re getting married in six weeks. If anyone guesses they’re not for real, they’re out. Selling their chemistry on camera is surprisingly easy, and it’s still there when no one else is watching, which is an unexpected bonus. Winning this competition is going to be a piece of wedding cake.
. But each week of the competition brings new challenges, and soon the prize money’s not the only thing at stake. The book for each month is chosen at the previous book club. So please come with your suggestions!
Please note: Paddy's of Park Slope serves plenty of drinks, but does not serve food. They welcome people to bring in food, or order in.
See you soon at Brooklyn Smutty Book Club!
