What we're about
Upcoming events (5+)
Brooklyn Pride, Inc. invites you to join us for a night of eating, drinking and community building at our next Dine with Pride event. For our March event, we will be enjoying some delicious food (have you had their fried chicken???), and creative cocktails at Sidecar in Park Slope. Weather permitting, we can even get out onto their back patio. Sidecar will donate a portion of their proceeds for Tuesday, March 5th to Brooklyn Pride. Volunteers will also be on hand starting around 6:30pm, so please come say hi and get to know the folks working on 2019's events. Be sure to mention Brooklyn Pride, Inc. for your special gift! We are so happy to be able to work with local LGBTQIA businesses. Please support all of our partners, and thank them for supporting Brooklyn Pride!
After voting on the theme in January as a community, come and be a part of the release of the awesome artwork for the 23rd Annual Brooklyn Pride! The work will be on the pride guide and the shirts, but get a sneak peek before June!
Celebrate Fifth Avenue's acclaimed destination restaurants and legendary watering holes at A Taste Of Fifth, Tuesday, April 10th, from 6:30 - 9:30pm. Buying a ticket not only allows you to sample all the savory offerings from many local restaurants and bars (complementary wine & beer), but you'll also be benefiting many local charities. $20 of every ticket goes to the local charity of your choice! Please select Brooklyn Pride when you purchase your tickets. A Taste of Fifth is a great opportunity to dance the night away or simply enjoy the company of friends and neighbors and catch up on the latest doings on the greatest avenue in the Slope.
• What we'll do Brooklyn Pride is having a volunteer orientation to help explain what each of the volunteer roles entail. Already signed up to volunteer? Wonderful! Thinking about volunteering with us but unsure what you want to do? That's great too! Already signed up and what to volunteer more at other events? YES!!! There will be some paperwork to sign - basic consent forms and emergency contact information, so be aware of that. Otherwise, just bring yourselves, and maybe a friend that you can convince to volunteer with you. The more the merrier!
