Miss Brooklyn Pride 2020 Coronation

It has been announced by the Board of Brooklyn Pride, Inc. that Brooklyn resident and entertainer extraordinaire Emi Grate will be crowned Miss Brooklyn Pride 2020 at The Gradient, 17 Wyckoff Avenue, Bushwick on Thursday, February 27, 2020; showtime 7 – 10 pm. Emi will represent the title during the year to increase visibility of the organization and the annual events that take place in June.

Emi Grate is a North Brooklyn-centric performer who has been hailed as a powerful performer that pushes the boundaries and compels the audience to embrace their senses and worth. Being multi-talented is not enough as Emi has also embraced activism and immigrant rights. Hailing from Burma, Bed Stuy, Brooklyn is now the place Emi calls home. The crowning event will be hosted by Alotta McGriddles, featuring performances by Crimson Kitty, Uncle Freak, Tyler Alyxander and Emi Grate.
