About us
Welcome to the ADHD Empowerment™ peer support community of Denver/Boulder, CO — a vibrant and inclusive community led by ADHDers for adults with ADHD and is dedicated to ADHD education, advocacy, and support. Whether you're diagnosed or not, there’s a place for you here.
It's no secret we ADHDers live in a whacky, uncertain, and highly distracted world — one that delivers plenty of stressful challenges to our mental health, daily habits, and work/family life. Ever feel like you're the only one who goes through these hiccups? You're not alone, my friend. Yes, we crave constant variety with a rolodex of ideas keeping us up late at night — but we're also incredibly creative, loving, and able to adapt to changing circumstances like a boss!
Offering opportunities to connect each month via in-person peer support groups, educational workshops, and skill-building events where members can share resources, ask questions, and find encouragement. Expect tangible takeaways, vulnerable shares, networking, and wellness tips at every gathering.
Our hosts and community members encompass all individuals impacted by ADHD —including adults with ADHD, parents, spouses, caregivers, and professionals who support the ADHD community such as educators, coaches, therapists, clinicians. Whether you're here for support, connection, or continuing education, there's a space for you here.
How to Join and Participate: Our meetings are free though contributing a donation for each meeting you attend is the norm. Most attendees give between $10–$20 per meeting, and your support directly funds the operational costs of our peer groups, educational events, and outreach efforts that keep this community strong and growing.
Hosted by ADHDers:
Dawn J. Lonowski; Certified Breakthrough Somatic Health & Movement Coach, Specializing in ADHD Health and Peer Support
And Nick Serro; LCSW specializing in Neurodivergence
