INTRODUCTION TO SALSA CLASSS
- This full class session have been opened to the community,
to give anyone interested in learning Salsa to come try for FREE!
- Learn the salsa basics for free with no pressure to stay
on to do the pay lesson.
- Once you have learnt the main basics , we will partner you up and show both ladies and men how to dance their steps together, with the men how to lead and the ladies how to follow.
- By the end of the 6.30PM Free session, you will already be
able to dance salsa!

* Easy to follow, step by step breakdown of the main basics
* This class is open to anyone wishing to give salsa a try
* Come as often as you like to make your basics strong
* No pressure to stay on to do any of the pay lessons
* No partner or dance experience required!

AFTER THE FREE CLASS?
If you enjoyed the Free class & wish to take your dancing
to the next level, the Free class is followed by the main
Cuban Salsa Beginner class (Beginner to improver level).

PROGRAM:
* 6.30PM - INTRODUCTION TO SALSA BASICS
- GET STARTED WITH LEARNING THE SALSA BASICS!
* Easy to follow, step by step breakdown of the main basics
- All absolute beginner students doing the main
7.00pm Cuban Salsa Beginner lesson MUST first attend this
Introduction to Basics class session.

BEGINNER CUBAN SALSA (Main class)
Cuban Salsa (Beginner to Improver Level)
- ALL students joining this part of the Beginner class are
expected to know their salsa basic steps
(Total Beginner Class: 1 hour & 30 Minutes)
** 8.30PM - 10.00PM (* New 1.5 hr Class)
INTERMEDIATE CUBAN SALSA / RUEDA DE CASINO
Ideal for students who are confident with their beginner level
steps and turns. This level will push you to the next level and
extend your salsa skills with new steps, upper body movement,
more complex partner patterns and improvised footwork.
What is Rueda De Casino?
Rueda De Casino, also called just ‘Rueda’, in it’s basic
form means ‘Casino wheel’, where dance couples comes
together to form a circle, with one main ‘caller’, who calls
out the names of different Cuban Salsa figures made up
of different sequences of fun dance moves, which are
danced by the couples in synchronisation. As the level of
the dancers improve, so does the figures performed
become more elaborate and complicated, and with a
constant change of partner calls, make the dance fun
and exciting for the dancers, as well as spectators who
view the dance. These figures are used when dancing
individually with a partner on the dancefloor.
* Please note: Class times may run a little later due to
registration delays on busy nights and heavy traffic delays.
CLASS COST:
Cuban Salsa Beginner class - $20 per class
Cuban Salsa & Rueda Interm (1.5hr class) - $25 per class
* All classes on the night - only $35
PAYMENT:
CASH and EFTPOS (Visa or Mastercard) now accepted
– Please note – there is a 1.9% surcharge when using credit cards
CLOTHING & SHOES:
Comfortable casual clothing.
Best shoes are low or flat smooth sole shoes
when starting, like leather sole shoes.
Avoid sandals, open toe shoes.
Avoid high heels when starting to avoid injury
Avoid track shoes or runners as these grip the floor
and can interfere with your stepping and turns
MEDICAL:
Anyone with breathing problems, heart conditions, knee, back or shoulder injuries and who are taking prescribed medication, please consult with your doctor first before joining any salsa classes.
COVID PROTOCOLS:
* If you have flu like symptoms or feeling unwell, please do not any attend any classes
* If you are a first contact, as a precaution, pls do not attend any
classes until after 7 days of negative tests
* If you are have just arrived back from Overseas or Interstate, as a precaution, pls do not attend any classes until after 7 days
* Sanitise hands frequently
