From Herman Debroux to Boitsfort (12 km)

Hey everyone,

Here is an easy evening hike planned through the forest for this Thursday.
If our pace is fast, we might add an extra kilometer or two.

As the number of participants is limited, it is important that you manage your registration responsibly: only sign up if you really intend to come and cancel as soon as you know you can’t (this also goes for people on the waiting list!).

●●Meeting point:
We meet at 19h00 outside of metro station Hermann Debroux (line 5) in Auderghem.

●● Way back:
We'll end up @ Wiener square : you can catch the tram line 8, bus 96 both going back downtown

●● Specifics:
Distance: ca 12 km
Net walking time: about 3 hours
Weather forecast: meh...might be chilly after 9PM though

In the unlikely case of too bad weather, we may cancel a hike, even few hours before the event. If this must happen, we will of course update the Meetup website and send out an email to those registered. So it is important to have access to either the Meetup.com website and/or your emails.

●● What to bring:

• HEADLAMP !!!!
• Comfortable hiking clothes & shoes
• Water, snacks
• Compeed for blisters
• Some change ($£€) for drinks if we find an open bar @ Wiener square (finish line)
• Your phone with the track, do not get lost in the forest at night !!!

●● Basic rules:
Please RSVP only if you really intend to come. And if your plans change, update your RSVP asap, even hours before the walk. This is basic courtesy towards others. Repeated late cancellations are not well considered (at all). No-shows are even worse.
Do not show up for a hike unless you are on the “going” list.
