New Year’s Hike: Stockel – Bois de la Cambre - Flagey (18 km)
Details
Let's kick off the new year with a bang... or rather, a hike! Join us for a refreshing walk after this period of parties with good food and drinks. Let's get some fresh air together and welcome the new year 2026 on its first day in nature while burning some calories. It's the perfect way to clear your head and set a positive tone for the year ahead.
For this hike we will mostly follow the “promenade verte” around Brussels and walk trough nice parks and the "Soignies Forest".
After the hike we will have a nice new year’s drink together at Flagey (if we find a pub that is open on January 1st)
Please don't forget to pay Maikel a New Year’s Drink :-)
We will walk at an average speed of 5km/h. We will walk both on paved and unpaved roads. I’ve never walked this road before, so it’s possible there are some mistakes in the planning.

We meet at 12h00 in front of the Metro Station in Stockel (Avenue de Hinnisdael). Stockel is the terminus station on the Metro Line 1. We start our hike at 12h15.
