Hike Amay – Esneux (28 km) - max 20 pers
Details
This week we'll be hiking through the beautiful rolling landscapes of the Condroz region. Starting in Amay on the banks of the River Meuse we'll climb onto the eastern Condroz plateau and mostly follow the GR 576 long-distance trail which is also a Camino route towards Santiago de Compostela.
Along the way we'll enjoy forests, rolling farmland, hidden valleys and charming Walloon villages with beautiful views across the gentle hills before descending into in the Ourthe Valley.
After the hike we will continue our good habit of taking a nice beer/ice cream/snack in a local pub in Esneux before returning to Brussels.
Please don't forget to pay Maikel a drink :-)
We will walk at an average speed of 5km/h. We will walk both on paved and unpaved roads. I’ve never walked this road before so it’s possible there are some mistakes in the planning.
