About us
"Yoga as protest" is a grounded yoga practice for people who want to reconnect - with their body, with nature, and with each other.
Who is this for?
Anyone who has ever felt like the pace of modern life is just⦠too much. You don't need yoga experience. You don't need to be flexible. You just need to show up.
What to expect
Each session is a 50-minute hatha yoga class is followed by a meal together. You're welcome to join one or both parts.
The classes are themed around yoga philosophy.
Why "yoga as protest"?
A few years ago I was exhausted and unwell for months - life was rushing, I felt disconnected from myself, from people, from the ground under my feet. I went back to my home village and something shifted. I came back knowing I wanted to study yoga and eventually share it.
So that's what this is. A practice as an antidote to burnout culture, hustle, and disconnection. Yoga not as a wellness product, but as a way of building genuine resilience: through the body, through nature, through community.
I'm a 200-hour certified hatha yoga teacher, and I believe the most radical thing we can do right now is slow down together.
