Welcome to BSAR - Big Stupid A$$ Rides Meetup.com! This group is for those who love challenging themselves with long-distance cycle tours, endurance training, and gravel cycling. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, join us for epic rides, camaraderie, and pushing ourselves to new limits. Let's conquer big stupid challenges together!
Rides that are over 5 hours in duration. Typically road or gravel rides that are 70, 100, or 200 miles. For metric folks - 100k, 200k, 300k
These rides are for endurance and long range cyclists that enjoy a day in the saddle.
Open to anyone - just be prepared and understand what riding long distances require from you and your bike.

Plenty of places to stop for drinks and snacks.
You MUST have:
- Full bike repair kit
- Food or snacks (I usually stop at a place with food)
- Backup plan if you need rescuingWhile this is planned to be "casual" - it is going to be 100 miles.
