Join us on Discord
BSDG, or Boise Software Developer’s Group, is the longest-running developer meetup in Boise (20+ years). BSDG is a technology agnostic development group. We try to cover a wide range of technology topics on various platforms. This includes .NET, Java, Ruby, Python, Objective-C, JavaScript, and others. We also love to talk about more high level topics like design patterns, best practices, architecture and the like. BSDG is a great place to learn from expert developers and discover talent in the Boise area.
We meet on the second Tuesday of every month.
P.S. If you’d like to volunteer to help keep BSDG running by being a speaker or sponsoring us (or if you just really want to say hi) reach out to one of the admins on Discord

🥳 Winter Social & 🏕️ Code Camp 2026 Announcement
Joe Mommas Meridian, 3510 N. Eagle Rd, Meridian, ID, USAs we wrap up another year of learning, building, and growing together, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the community that makes Boise’s tech scene so special — you. 🎉 We’ll save the technical talks for next year, and instead gather to reconnect, share ideas, and look ahead to what’s coming in 2026.
We also want to offer a heartfelt 🙏 thank you to CodeWorks, who have generously opened their doors to us and helped host our meetups for so long. As CodeWorks moves forward on a new path, BSDG will be searching for a new venue in 2026. If you or your organization are interested in helping us find our next home, we’d love to talk with you at the event.
To make the evening even better, we will be providing hors d’oeuvres and soda 🥤. Additionally, this years location has light appetizers/sharables and a 🍻 full bar for individual purchase but please RSVP as early and accurately as you can so we can prepare accordingly.
We will once again be taking this opportunity to unveil next years flagship event, Boise Code Camp, sharing what’s new, and inviting anyone interested in speaking, volunteering, or organizing to help shape the biggest developer event in Idaho.
We are also going to run an introductory 30 minute LeanCoffee session prior to kicking off a more regular cadence in 2026, to learn more about what LeanCoffee is and how it runs, check out https://leancoffee.org
Whether you’re brand new, returning after a busy year, or a regular face in the crowd, this is the perfect chance to connect with fellow technologists, talk shop, and get inspired for the year ahead.
Come celebrate the community. Help shape the future. Let’s kick off an amazing 2026, together.
We hope to see you there!24 attendees
