The Eleventh Annual Memorial to Memorial on Memorial.

We will start at the Spencerville Area Veterans Memorial Park in Spencerville adjacent to the BT/NCT at the corner of Sixth St and Canal St in Spencerville. (just south of Delphos Section Point 4).

We will gather at 7am and take a little time to solemnly walk through the park before starting the hike at 7:15am or when everyone has had an opportunity to pay their respects.

The hike will take us to the Memorial Park adjacent to the BT/NCT in Delphos, (midway between Delphos Section point 7 & 8).

Total length of this hike will be 9.3 miles. It will be on the towpath trail which is mostly a hard packed gravel trail. Upon reaching the southern limit of Delphos, the trail becomes grass and/or dirt. Two blocks will be on sidewalks.

Delphos Canal Museum will be open for hikers to use restrooms, etc.

Shuttle will be provided back to Spencerville.

The parade will kick off at 10:45 a.m. in front of the Fire Station. It will turn north on Main St and break up at the Memorial.

The Delphos Veterans Council will be conducting Memorial Day commemoration activities on Monday, May 27th at the Delphos Veterans Memorial at 5th and Main Streets.

The program is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and will last about 30 to 40 minutes.

There will be a luncheon at the VFW afterwards. All are invited to attend and reflect with us what Memorial Day is all about. We believe it to be our nation's greatest holiday. Hope to see you there.
