Let’s Get Together and Ride!
If you have a love of cycling, want to have fun, and meet new people, this group is for you! We promote an atmosphere of fun, fitness and fellowship! Tuesday /Thursday’s, Rides. ‘Bonding’ Saturday’s rides as we unwind with much more!
We Get It!
We are dedicated to the interests of cycling enthusiasts both in and out of the riding season. Most of our members are interested in road cycling, others prefer trails, while others enjoy mountain biking. Whatever your cycling interests, we are committed to the recreation, exercise, safety and camaraderie of all our members!
We highly encourage Safety First and that cyclists adhere to all traffic laws. It’s also important to note that our Thursday Conditioning Rides are No Drop, which means no one will be left behind!
A few other things to keep in mind…
Risk of Injury: All cyclists must acknowledge there is a risk of injury and accept that risk. Additionally, upon completion of your RSVP for each ride and fellowship gathering, cyclists agree that BTP and its group leaders are not responsible for rider safety and/or injury.

BTP CONDITIONING THURSDAYS
15511 Beech Tree Pkwy, 15511 Beech Tree Parkway, Upper Marlboro, MD, USAll ride levels are welcome and encouraged to attend our "NO DROP" conditioning ride.
The average pace of this ride is 15-17mph. A BTP ride leader will ensure NO ONE is left behind!

This will be a 20-mile route the average pace is 15-18+ mph.

Rides are classified according to level and cruising speed:
• A+ rider = Cycles 50-100 miles at 20-25 average miles per hour
• A/B rider = Cycles 50-100 miles at 16-20 average miles per hour
• B/C rider = Cycles 30-70 miles at 13-15 average miles per hour
• C/D rider = Cycles 20-50 miles at 10-12 average miles per hour
• D rider = Cycles 10-20 miles at 10 average miles per hour
All riders must be in possession of the following items to participate in a BTP group ride:
1- HELMET (No Helmet, No Ride!!!)
2- GLOVES
3- Safety Glasses
4- C02 (2 each)
5- Spare Tube (2 each)
6- Safety Lights (front & rear)
7- Water Bottle (to fit your cage)
8- Dress for the weather
COVID-19 RIDE RULES AND GUIDELINES Effective immediately, the following rules will be in place for all BTP hosted rides and events until further notice.
• If you are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms – DO NOT join us**.**
• If you have been in contact with or in close proximity to someone who is COVID-19 positive – DO NOT join us**.**
• Riders and their guests MUST RSVP/pre-register on Meetup prior to attending the ride.
• All riders MUST have face covering on their person during all rides. If you need to sneeze, cough, blow your nose or spit during the ride drop back and do so, to ensure that no one is in your slip stream.
Note: All riders assume all individual risks when riding with the BTP.
