Anandana is a certified Yoga practitioner teaching Hatha Yoga. Originally inspired by practising breathing techniques for various sports including swimming, Anandana now practises and sees Yoga as a ‘way of life’and one that with regular practice can align our body, mind and soul.THIS CLASS
Hatha yoga is the branch of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga in general terms. The Sanskrit word हठ haṭha literally means "force" and thus alludes to a system of physical techniques. The practice involves using the body, mind and includes breathwork , yoga poses, and meditation and suitable for most levels including beginner.
Yoga began in India around 2000 years ago as a series of spiritual breathing exercises. The term Hatha was first recorded in the 11th century, but it wasn't until the late 19th century that it came to America, gaining mainstream popularity in the 1960s.ABOUT US

Kundalini yoga derives from kundalini, defined in Vedantic culture as energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine until it is activated and channelled upward through the chakras in the process of spiritual perfection. Kundalini is believed by adherents to be power associated with the divine feminine.About Camilla
Camilla is co-owner of Rural Escapes Portugal retreat centre. She has been practicing yoga regularly since 1999 and is qualified in hatha, vinyasa and Kundalini Yoga. Camilla specialises in teaching yoga for people with addictions and has trained with both Carolyn Cowan and Nikki Myers. Camilla is especially interested in Kundalini Yoga and sees this practice as a wonderfully practical tool to help process and shift whatever is blocking your shining light.ABOUT US

Susann studied classical singing and has been singing for over 30 years. She is in musical further education with Sundaram and regularly leads mantra circles. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Vedic philosophy and sacred mantras.THIS CLASS
Susann will give you a brief introduction to the meaning of chanting mantras and the aspects of the Hindu Gods. After that she will guide you into self-awareness through chanting. About the class
This is a home for the soul, a place to share and muse on the wonder of the journey you’ve walked so far. The moments you were afraid, thought you were absolutely crazy or felt the Love surround you and bring you healing. We often feel so alone in our wyrdness and sharing the absurdities and wonders of our inner journey can help us feel more grounded and connected.
It’s not a place to brag about our insight, to teach or preach the truth or have egos run wild. Just awe, wonder and authentic caring connection.
Each speaker will have 7 minutes to share and then we will share silence for 3 minutes. People may respond in the chat with encouragement or alignment but not advice, criticism or judgement. Please note that I will quickly remove from the space anyone who disrupts the caring atmosphere of the community.About Jaijai
Jacqui Webb (BA Psych.) I am a super proud Mom of 3 delightfully unique young adults, parenting and elder care constitute most of my life’s work. My first job was as a puppy trainer at Guide Dogs for the Blind and I think it stood me in good stead for parenting! ;)I’m a mystic and my life’s passion has been the Dance with my unseen Beloved. I love to dance and the closer to nature the better: dancing in water, in sunlight and in close contact with others is especially joyous. I was raised in traditional religion and after a break down pushed into my spirituality until I found Peace, this involved a series of encounters with Divine revelation which set me on my own unique path.
As Darkness Retreat Africa I own South Africa’s first Darkness Retreat Centre and I host, nourish and support retreatants in deep journeys to their own radiant inner light. As Restorative Wisdom I co-create conversations for growth and insight using the MARI, Mandala drawing and Jungian symbolism.
At BU-Evolution I offer ‘The Altar' a weekly gathering for prayer and connection with Divine Love and ‘Speaking the Journey’ a structured, open room for sharing stories of your spiritual journey.

About this class
The focus of this session alternates between Compassion Focused Body Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Self Healing Touch. A beautiful collection of healing practices Compassion Focused Body Mindfulness. There has never been a more important time to include regular meditation in your life. Meditation will not only support you to destress, relax and build your immune system, but as you relax and destress you will be supporting others around you to do likewise. There is the opportunity to offer Compassionate Touch to parts of yourself that are suffering or parts that want attention, or simply whatever arises. The sessions take a number of different forms. If you have parts that feel awkward, uncomfortable, vulnerable, nervous or similarly about the idea of doing this practice, rest assured, you are not alone. Many people do, and they usually find that within a matter of a couple of minutes these parts naturally relax and the benefits flow in. Other parts of yourself may be encouraging you to give this a go; I do encourage you to listen to these parts. This is valuable for everyone and particularly suitable for those who believe they didn’t receive or integrate enough unconditional love as a child.About Karen
