Let’s spend a relaxing spring afternoon discovering one of Bucharest’s most special and unexpected places. Parcul Natural Văcărești is a hidden wild corner of the city, with lakes, reeds, open skies, quiet paths, and lots of birdlife. Although it’s still in Bucharest, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, get some fresh air, and share a nice walk together.
We’ll meet in front of the Impact Center, near Mihai Bravu metro station, and leave at 15:00. The plan is to spend around 2 hours exploring the park, then head back toward Mihai Bravu station. Afterward, if people feel like it, we can keep hanging out with a drink or a snack at the nearby mall or one of the many restaurants in the area.
If you have them, hiking shoes are a good idea, but they’re not mandatory. I also recommend bringing a bottle of water and sunscreen, as the forecast looks pleasant, fairly warm, and partly sunny.
