------------------------------------------------------

📣 Attila Bartha (Tech Lead @ IBM Cloud)
💬 Introduction to Core Web Vitals
Web Vitals is an initiative by Google to provide guidance for essential quality metrics to delivering a great user experience. They represent a measurable quality indicator that leads to real-world outcomes for your users.
In this talk we will explore what metrics the guidance includes and what tools are available to measure them.

📣 Szabolcs Szabolcsi-Toth (Senior Engineer @ IBM Cloud)
💬 CSS Container Queries - components for all sizes!
Since the appearance of responsive design, developers and designers asked if the same level of control that we can use on viewports today could be applied to a single container, like a "div".
Almost after 10 years of waiting, it looks like the wait is over, and component-driven development can soon leverage the true potential in responsive design. CSS Container Queries are one of the best things
that happened to CSS in these recent years, so let's see where our components will evolve pretty soon.

📣 Péter Czibik (Senior Full-Stack Engineer @ RisingStack)
💬 Managing application state with science
State management could easily register for the third place in the race for hardest problems in computer science. I’m going to share a few thoughts on how to apply real computer science as a near perfect solution to this problem. Attendees are going to learn about how to apply finite state machines to a real world problem of fetching data from a server. This talk is suitable for everyone ranging from beginner to intermediate.

📣 Gábor Magyar (Medior Software Engineer @ Vacuumlabs)
💬 The Smart(home) way to deal with your neighbor and other home automation adventures

📣 Gergely Nagy (Senior Software Engineer @ Vacuumlabs)
💬 A pragmatic look at authentication in microservices
Securing services is both important and hard, especially with microservices because of their distributed nature. Fortunately, there are a number of standards and tools we can use, but they come with tradeoffs so there is no single best solution. In this talk, we'll look at what authentication and authorization are in general, and then go more and more into specifics while explaining some tradeoffs and decisions along the way. We'll touch on topics like RBAC vs ABAC, OAuth, JWT tokens, API gateways, auth providers, data models, etc -- and then I'll describe a possible architecture with all of the above.
