At Shapr3D, we developed an AI-powered chatbot using a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework. What began as a proof of concept quickly evolved into a production-ready solution, now publicly available to our users. The business case continues to grow, and the project has laid a strong foundation for future AI initiatives.
In this talk, I’ll share our journey from prototype to production, highlighting the unexpected challenges I faced when deploying the chatbot publicly. We’ll discuss how I addressed issues such as hallucinations, the strategies we used to improve reliability, and our plans for the next stages of development.
