Kinoene 甲子の日
Special prayers for financial success are available on Kinoene day,
which is Daikokuten's festival day.
Kinoene day is the first of 60 combinations of the Ten Heavenly Stems* and Twelve Earthly Branches, which cycle through about six times a year, and is therefore considered an auspicious day for starting new things.
It has long been believed that visiting shrines or taking new actions on this day, is fortuitous for good luck.
We will do a special service at 7pm this day with Daikokuten.
If you have a statue or image of Daikokuten on your home or business altar, please bring them to be blessed.
