Guru Puja on Losar

Join us for a Guru Puja this Losar to remember Lama Thubten Yeshe, who passed away on the first day of the Tibetan New Year in 1984.

Lama Yeshe was a beloved Tibetan Buddhist teacher known for his warmth, humor, and gift for making the Dharma accessible to Western students. Together with Lama Zopa Rinpoche, he founded the FPMT, a worldwide network of Buddhist centers and projects.

Through the practice of Lama Chöpa (Guru Puja), we will invoke the blessings of the lineage, offer our gratitude for Lama Yeshe’s revolutionary approach to bringing Dharma to the West, and renew our commitment to actualizing his vision of universal love and wisdom.
