Easier Standing and Balance: Harmonizing the relationship between the front and back muscles for easier standing and balance. Lesson is done lying on the back with legs crossed and tilting legs left and right. Coordinating arms, eyes, and breathing with movement of the legs.
The Feldenkrais Method of somatic education is a gentle movement modality developed to improve people’s movement and heal acute/chronic pain. It uses the brain and body’s innate ability of learning how to move and heal by creating new neural pathways through sensory awareness in movement. Everyone has developed movement patterns and habits that influence their ability to move with ease.
Cost: $15 For Members of the Buddhist Center, $20 for non-members. Cash or Venmo accepted at the door.
