Using Your Bum. The glutes are large, strong muscles of the body and in this (very fun!) lesson we learn how to better use them to make our everyday movements easier. We explore how the use of the glutes affect the movement of the arch, legs, pelvis, and low back. Lesson is done lying on the back, sitting, kneeling, and standing.

The Feldenkrais Method of somatic education is a gentle movement modality developed to improve people’s movement and heal acute/chronic pain. It uses the brain and body’s innate ability of learning how to move and heal by creating new neural pathways through sensory awareness in movement. Everyone has developed movement patterns and habits that influence their ability to move with ease.

Cost: $15 For Members of the Buddhist Center, $20 for non-members. Cash or Venmo accepted at the door.x
