The Bodhisattva path asks practitioners to cultivate boundless compassion while maintaining ethical discipline — but what happens when these seem to conflict? This course with Charok Lama explores how Mahayana Buddhism approaches ethical complexity: situations where values compete, where compassion challenges precepts, or where there's no obviously correct answer.

You'll come away with frameworks for holding uncertainty, tools for applying Buddhist ethics in everyday life, and more comfort practicing within complexity rather than waiting for simpler circumstances.

No prior study of Buddhist ethics required.
