Conceptual Design and Analysis: Vasari and Ecotect
- Matt Jezyk and Scott Davis
Matt Jezyk is Senior Product Manager, AEC Conceptual Design Products at Autodesk (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=15459033&siteID=123112). Matt has been in the Architecture and Engineering industry for 15 years and has spent the past 11 years developing Autodesk Revit. He was one of the original architects hired by Revit Technology Corporation and helped build what is now Revit Architecture and Revit Structure. He is experienced in building parametric and geometric modeling tools on the Revit platform. Recently, Matt has focused on emerging markets and technology. His groups have designed and developed new parametric modeling and integrated energy analysis features. Most recently, he has lead the team working Project Vasari (http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/vasari/), a new technology preview available on Autodesk LABS.
Scott Davis joined Autodesk (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=15459033&siteID=123112), Inc. in March of 2007 after spending 8 years at WLC Architects (http://www.wlc-architects.com/), Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Scott is currently a Technical Specialist and a Revit expert, responsible for pre-sales activities at architecture, engineering and construction firms, as well as speaking to owners about the value of BIM. Scott is responsible for the West territory, which includes the Rocky Mountain States westward including Hawaii and Alaska.
Scott has been a Revit user since version 1.0, and is considered one of the top Revit users worldwide.
