Come join us at the Baltimore UnderGround Science Space (BUGSS) for a fascinating event all about the wonders of mushroom materials! Discover how mushrooms can be used to create sustainable and innovative products. From packaging to building materials, mushrooms have incredible potential. We'll build our own creations and then test the ability of mushroom materials to float, stack, and withstand pressure!

Science Slam at Peabody Heights!

When else can you enjoy a bite and a drink while learning remarkable science that is going on in Charm City? Come join us for a night of 5 min science talks from local scientists and support their efforts to communicate their work!
We are so happy to be able to have this at Peabody Heights and we thank them so much for their support!
BUGSS will host 6 or so local scientists (grad students, postdocs, citizen scientists, etc) to present their work in 5 minutes. We give prizes to the talks that are most creative and best communicated! This is a great way to connect with others, learn diverse topics of science going on right here in Charm City, gain communication skills and experience, enhance chances of collaboration and emerging projects and ideas!
