Make a Microbial Fuel Cell! Scholarships available! Make sure to register on Eventbrite.

This hands-on workshop will make use of Mudwatts to create bacterial batteries! We will explain how electro-microbiology works and how it is currently used.

In this workshop, you will discover the power of electricity-generating bacteria living in the soil beneath our feet! Best of all, you will get to keep and take home your mudwatt to run a long-term experiment using the MudWatt Explorer App! MudWatts are reusable and can last for years!
Class is appropriate for anyone in third grade and up!

We have a limited supply (only 10!) mudwatts. So, there are 10 available tickets for people who want to build their own MudWatt that they can take home. But…there are also more tickets available for people who want to attend but not build their own Mudwatt (maybe you are sharing and building together with a partner, sibling, family member, friend-all welcome!)

Scholarships are available! Please email us at info@bugssonline.org to request one.
