About us

Small, hands-on AI mornings for women, around a kitchen table in Galata. There are never more than four of us, so nobody gets left behind. Complete beginners arrive with a laptop and leave by 1pm having built something real with AI: your first web app, your first personal assistant, live on your screen and yours to keep. I guide every step, every basic question is a good question, and you'll leave knowing how to keep building on your own. Sessions run in English. This is the Istanbul beta of a workshop series launching in London this September, which is why seats here cost a fraction of the London price: you get the full session, and I get your honest feedback on what confused you. Four seats per session and they go quickly, so join the group to hear the moment booking opens.

Built by Lunch is a hands-on morning for 4 women, hosted around my kitchen table in Galata. In one focused session you'll go from idea to a real, working web app: live on your laptop by 1pm, yours to keep and show off. I'll guide you through every step, and you'll leave knowing how to keep building without me. Complete beginners only, no technical background needed. With just four of us, nobody gets left behind.

This is the beta: the first ever session of a workshop series launching at my home on Portobello Road, London this September. That's why four seats in Istanbul cost 1,500 TL instead of the London price of £95. You get the full session and a say in how it evolves; I get to run it for real people first. Fair trade.

The morning:
09:00, arrive. Proper coffee, börek from the corner, introductions, what we're building
09:45, hands on: your first app with Claude, step by step
12:15, finishing touches, then show and tell: every app demoed, every builder applauded
12:45, watch me take one app live on the internet in front of you, so you can see exactly where this goes next
13:00, leave with your working app

What you'll need: any laptop and a Claude Pro account (about $20 a month, cancel anytime, and it's the same tool you'll keep building with afterwards). Claude works in Türkiye, no VPN needed. I'll send simple set up steps when you book; it takes 10 minutes. Not set up by the day? Come at 09:00 and we'll sort it together.

Details: 4 seats only. Exact address in Galata sent after booking. Session runs in English. Beta price 1,500 TL, paid at booking, and your seat is only confirmed once payment is made. In return I'll ask for honest feedback, a photo or two, and your bluntest opinion on what confused you.
