Build with AI — RGV is a hands-on community for small business owners, educators, and working professionals in the Rio Grande Valley who want to use AI to work smarter, build something real, and stay ahead of the curve.
This is not a lecture series. Every session has one goal: you leave with something you built, tested, or figured out — not just a list of tools to check out later.
We meet weekly in person in McAllen for a 90-minute working session, plus bi-weekly online for screen-share collaboration where members show what they're working on and get real-time input from the group.
If you're a teacher exploring a side hustle, a local business owner trying to automate the repetitive stuff, or a professional who wants to stop guessing and start building — this is your room.
No hype. No magic. Just people doing the work together.

What Are We Working On? — RGVTech + Build with AI Community Meetup
Two local tech communities, one room, one simple question: what are you working on?
This session brings together members of RGVTech Friends and Build with AI — RGV for an informal, in-person working session at the McAllen Public Library. Whether you write code, build automations, run a business with AI tools, or just like being around people who are actually building things, this is your room.
The format is open. Show up, plug in, and share what you're currently working on, what's giving you trouble, or what you just figured out. Coders, developers, AI builders, small business owners, and curious professionals are all welcome. No presentations, no agenda, no pressure.
What to bring:
Your laptop, a current project or problem, and a willingness to help or be helped.
What to expect:
Conference Room A, a 16-person space with a TV display for screen sharing, reliable WiFi, and a group of people who prefer doing over talking about doing.
Why both groups?
RGVTech Friends has the coders. Build with AI — RGV has the business builders and AI practitioners. There's more overlap than either group realizes, and this is the room where that gets discovered.
