Building Leaders Social promotes the social activities of the Carleton Toastmasters Club. We hope to strengthen the bonds and friendship throughout the Toastmasters community. No Toastmasters membership is required to participate in the activities of this meetup group. All guests, students and non-students, are welcomed.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.
Members learn to improve their public speaking skills through various meeting roles such as chair, table topics, evaluation and speech projects.
