HOSTED BY FAT BABES CT
(Two-part event, read all the way through)

Whether you’re brand new to fat liberation or a seasoned advocate who wants to connect with local community, join us on Saturday, October 4 at 11am at the New Haven Free Public Library. The National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA)’s executive director, Tigress Osborn, will give a short presentation on the organization’s historical and current role in the fat rights movement, including updates on the Campaign for Size Freedom. Then we’ll do a Q&A with Fat Babes Connecticut founder and Building the Rainbow member Megan Pitchard about her Fat Liberation journey and what she hopes to see for local organizing in Connecticut.

After the event, Fat Babes CT will hold lunch around 12:00 P.M. at Trinity Bar & Restaurant, located at 157 Orange Street in New Haven.

In addition to RSVPing on Meetup, please sign up on NAAFA’s website and Fat Babes CT’s Facebook group.
