Got some clothes that you aren't loving anymore? Looking to acquire some free shirts, pants, or dresses that better fit your body and gender identity? Join us for a New Haven-based clothing swap on Sunday, October 19 from 12-2 P.M. This event will take place at Building the Rainbow member Carly's home, address to be provided upon RSVP.

Please make sure that everything you bring is gently used and in good condition. Some well-loved pieces are fine, but not if they are covered in stains or falling apart at the seams! Clothing will be in a range of adult sizes and feature "men's," "women's," and "unisex" styles and cuts. Whatever is not claimed by the end of the swap will be donated to the attendees' neighborhood charity of choice.

FOOD: Some light snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring something small to share, but do not anticipate a full meal.

ACCESSIBILITY: TBA

ANIMALS: Carly has a dog, so if you are severely allergic to or afraid of dogs, this is not a good event for you.

CARPOOLING: We encourage folks to carpool with at least one other person, if at all possible. Please make sure to note in the event questionnaire if you would prefer to be a driver, be a passenger, or ride solo.

SUBSTANCES: As always, this is a substance-free event to support our friends in recovery. Please do not bring alcoholic beverages of any kind or cannabis in any form. Thanks for understanding!

COMMUNICATION: Please make sure you have joined our Discord server and check in with #clothing-swap-october-19 for more information.
