This group is perfect for actors and individuals who are passionate about enhancing their craft and staying present in the moment. Join us for weekly workshops focused on improvisation, scene study, and character development. Alive in the Moment Meetup Workshop Group is an Acting Workshop & Scene Study for beginners / Intermediate / Advanced. We'll be meeting twice per month. (Bi-weekly.)
Scenes will be worked out and performed. — Occasionally On Camera or On Stage when scenes are ready. Industry professions will be invited.
Instructor: Darren Shepherd has been an industry profession for over 25 years as a Casting Director for such films as Barbie, The Accountant 2, The Grinch, Westworld, Monk, Casino, and many more.
This workshop is perfect for those looking to start an acting career, learn about the craft of acting, build confidence and learn the technical challenges of filming. This scene study will be bi-weekly, with a possible upgrade to weekly in the future. Sandy Meisner based, but other techniques will be utilized. We will have other industry professionals / Casting Directors / film directors as guest teachers / guest speakers and observers occasionally.
We will meet bi-weekly on Saturdays between 10 AM - 12 Noon. To help pay for rental space and other supplies, there will be a monthly fee of $100 Per Month.
