Welcome to the WGTA Pickleball Club ---- HOME OF MAPLE LEAF PICKLEBALL!!
We are a COED Pickleball League (18+) both at the entry level as well as some of us that have played for about a year.
We play indoor and sometimes outdoor (weather permitting) year round. We take some breaks in between seasons and around the holidays.
Pickleball has been rising in popularity. In fact, pickleball is considered one of the fastest-growing sports in North America. Its easy to learn and anyone at any level will pick it up in no time.
We are also partners with many local and other well known businesses including Shoppers Drug Mart Headon Plaza, Hwy 407, Gatorade, The Black Bull British Pub, King Truck & Equipment Repair, Path2Success, Burlington Pickleball and Learn 2 Pickle and many more local businesses!

This Clinic series Is for beginners that have started playing PB, know the basic rules and want to kick it up a notch.

RoseWeek 1: Mastering the Serve & Return
In our first week, we'll dive deep into the art of the serve and return. We'll work on perfecting your placement, spin, and power in your serves, and you'll learn how to handle different types of returns. By the end of this week, you'll have your opponent’s wondering if they're facing a serving maestro!
Week 2: Net Play and Volleys Galore
Week 2 is all about dominating the net. We'll focus on those quick reflex volleys and soft touches that can change the course of a game. Be prepared for lots of "oohs" & "aahs" from your opponents as they watch you effortlessly control the net.
Week 3: The Art of the Dink
Ah, the dink – the shot that separates the pros from the amateurs. We'll spend our third week refining your dinking skills, ensuring you can delicately place the ball just where you want it. You'll soon be dinking with finesse and confounding your rivals with your impeccable touch.
Week 4: Strategy and Court Awareness
It's time to become a pickleball strategist! In week 4, we'll delve into the world of court positioning, shot selection, and anticipating your opponent's moves. You'll learn how to think several steps ahead, turning the game into a cerebral battle of wits.
By the end of this clinic, you'll be a well-rounded intermediate player ready to take on any challengers.
