About us
We're a meetup group that explores what makes Burlington great. Whether you're into trivia nights, food and beer crawls, coffee hangs, live music, board games, or just discovering new local spots, the idea is mix things up so there's something fresh to try, while also keeping regular events like our Saturday morning Coffee Meetup.
What started as friends mixers at The Pinery, then regular casual coffee meetups has grown into something more, progressing into regularly bringing 10-30 people together for different events.
Our ***Btown Brief newsletter ***keeps us plugged into the best local events and hidden gems (aggregating 12 news sources and 12 event calendars so you don't have to), while our Telegram groupchat lets you stay connected, share ideas, and make casual plans between meetups.
The group is FREE to join. I want this community to keep growing, so there's no barrier to entry. I'm also working on expanding what we do together. Think Co-Working Wednesdays, Climbing Gym Night, Film Screenings, Board Game Night, Btown Walks, hikes, and even a day trip to Montreal. Your attendance and feedback help shape what comes next. Fill out this Google Form if you're up to host something, or are a regular at another event that you want the Btown Briefers to show up to. I simply can't host everything I want this group to become.
As the group grows, I'd like to mix in some age-leaning events (like 20s–early 30s socials or 30s–40s dinners) alongside our open meetups, so everyone can find their lane.

We tend to get anywhere from 15-30 people each week, but I absolutely love to see that continue to get bigger. Many of the regulars don't RSVP anymore since they come all the time, but I wish they would RSVP so others can see who's coming.
Welcome to the event what I like call the the Coffee Club, a casual weekly event that keeps regulars grounded and the perfect home base for starting off your weekend trying to find things to do with others. This is the perfect, low-key way to start your Saturday, meet new people, and catch up with familiar faces.
There's no agenda and no pressure, just good coffee and good conversation. Whether you're a brand new member looking to make your first connections or a regular who wants a reliable social touchpoint each week, this meetup is for you.## What to Expect
