Memorial Day Weekend Potluck Picnic + Hike

Join us for a relaxed, social Memorial Day weekend gathering at Leddy Park. We’ll start with a casual group hike and then return for a potluck picnic and hangout by the lake.

When & Where
Sunday, May 24
Meet at 11:00 AM (sharp)

A marathon will be taking place along the bike path, so the park may be busy. Please be respectful and make room for runners.

Meet Location
Drive all the way down toward Leddy Beach, on the far side of the park near the ice rink/picnic area. Look for a group gathered near the open lawn and grill area.

Hike Plan
We’ll leave promptly at 11:00 AM for a casual Rock Point loop (easy to moderate, scenic lake views).
If you arrive after 11:00, feel free to wait at the picnic area—we’ll return around 12:15 PM.

Picnic + Potluck
After the hike, we’ll gather to eat, relax, and use the grill if available.

A small group will arrive early to secure a picnic/BBQ spot. Please do not plan to arrive early to set up or cook.

What to Bring

A dish or snack to share
Your own food and drinks (BYOB welcome)
Something to grill (optional)
Blanket or chair
Optional: games like frisbee, cornhole, or a basketball
