The "English Play" events are our most popular and happen monthly at Boys Town ( every third Saturday of the month near Songdo beach) and Soyang Children's Home (one Saturday a month on Gadeok Island). Just check the details on the Facebook event page and make sure you RSVP by messaging the coordinator!
There are also regular volunteering opportunities:
Boys Town (소년의집)
Male or female volunteers. You will be joining another teacher already teaching there and rotate responsibilities, teaching English to Kindergarten-3rd grade elementary school boys.
Girls Town (송도가정)
Female volunteers only. You will be joining a group of teachers already teaching English with some of the girls there, elementary-middle school age, and will volunteer together with your group every other week.
*We are always looking for new volunteers who are passionate and willing to share their skills with the kids at these children's homes. We've had coaches and music teachers at Boys Town in the past, but who have since returned to their home country. Please let us know if you would like to propose a new class or project (male/female volunteers welcome), or if you're interested in teaching at a different time or with a different age group!
