Business Banking: Funding Session With Fifth Third Bank
Saturday, October 24, 2026 | 10:00 AM
**In Person + Online via Zoom**
THIS IS NOT A SEMINAR.
This is a working session for business owners who have a real capital need and want to walk in prepared to actually pursue it.
Held inside a Fifth Third Bank branch, this event combines education with an application-focused funding experience for business owners actively seeking capital.
The in-person session is designed to help you move from simply talking about funding to actually preparing for a real funding conversation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the in-person working session, participating business owners will work through:
Business Funding Readiness Assessment
A practical review designed to help identify where your business currently stands from a funding-readiness perspective.
Capital Needs Worksheet
A worksheet built around your specific business, funding goals and intended use of capital.
Banking & Underwriting Education
Learn how business structure, credit profile, banking relationships, revenue and other factors can affect how a bank evaluates a business.
Direct Conversation With Fifth Third Bank
Have a direct conversation with a Fifth Third banking representative about what a real funding conversation looks like for a business at your stage.
The goal is to help you walk into the conversation prepared, informed and ready to discuss your capital needs.
PART 1: THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
The educational portion of the event will be available both in person and online via Zoom.
We'll cover:
* Why building a relationship with your bank matters
* Business structure and funding readiness
* Building a strong business credit profile
* What banks and underwriters look at when evaluating applications
* Revenue and financial information
* Banking activity and business relationships
* Common issues that can affect funding readiness
* How to prepare before pursuing business funding

PART 2: THE IN-PERSON FUNDING SESSION
After the educational portion, the Zoom session will end and the in-person funding session will continue inside the Fifth Third Bank branch.
In-person attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the funding-readiness/application process and explore access to a specialized funding product offered by Fifth Third Bank.
