Noticed lack of business-focused book clubs in the South Bay area so decided to create this meetup group 😀
This group's mission is to bring together like-minded individuals who share a passion for books on business, entrepreneurship, self-improvement, productivity, and inspiring biographies.
Our meetups follow a simple yet engaging format:
• Introduction: All members briefly introduce themselves.
• Brief Author Info: Host shares brief about author in a 5-minute rundown.
• Personal Impressions: Discuss your thoughts on the book for about 2 minutes. (own experiences/what did we like most/least?)
• Group Discussion: Lessons learnt from the book.
• Total Time: Around 2 hours.
To join, all you need is curiosity about the book's topic. You don't even have to read the entire book! (Though it'll really help if you do)
If you want to prepare (though it's not mandatory), ponder on these questions:
1. Which ideas from the book stood out to you?
2. What lessons can you use right away?
3. What questions did the book leave unanswered? What should we explore next?
We believe in keeping it flexible, simple, and engaging. The focus of our group might evolve over time, depending on our collective interests and the trending topics in the business world.
So, whether you're an established businessperson, an aspiring entrepreneur, or someone keen on personal growth and productivity, join us. Let's explore, learn, and grow together in the world of non-fiction business literature!
