BVGT playdate at the Junkyard Social Club (Boulder)
Details
Time to explore, run, build, play, talk, and connect! Our final summer event will take place at Junkyard Social Club, Boulder's "New Rebel Museum & Adventure Playground....a Hangout that Welcomes Adults and Kids Alike."
The Junkyard has generously reduced their admission fees to only $5 per child (and free for adults) for our nonprofit group, and BVGT will be able to cover the cost of the first 20 children who arrive!
Everyone is welcome, whether or not their children have been officially identified as "gifted and talented" and regardless of where they attend school (BVSD, other district, private school, home...). Plus, you do not have to be a member of Boulder Valley Gifted and Talented (BVGT) to participate!
(Of course, if you appreciate these offerings and would like to get involved with this awesome nonprofit education advocacy group, we'd love to have you! Click here to join BVGT.)
I'll also bring a sampling of the BVGT lending library to the remaining playdates for attendees to browse. (BVGT members are entitled to borrow books to take home.)
Snacks and drinks will NOT be provided this time (because we want to encourage attendees to support the Junkyard by purchasing their own refreshments at the on-site café).
