Demo: Gödel -Unified scheduler for online and offline workloads
Gödel Scheduler, developed by ByteDance, has been open-sourced as a unified system for managing online and offline workloads efficiently. Created to surpass the capabilities of Kubernetes' default scheduler, it enhances resource utilization, operational efficiency, and scheduling throughput. Key features include optimistic concurrency, a two-layer scheduling abstraction, and a robust dispatcher and binder system. Gödel Scheduler aims to improve cloud-native experiences and reduce operational burdens, catering to ByteDance’s extensive and diverse computing needs. For more details, visit CNCF blog.
