See all- C2 Retro Gaming Night #9: Classic computers and games, drink and chatC2 Kyoto, Kyoto
Have a beer while playing on authentic classic computers and consoles!
In the past, we've had homebrew, demakes, ten player bomberman on the Saturn, and even weird things like a Virtual Boy running on a glasses-free holographic display.
Our carefully curated exhibits are different each event. (photos below are the from the last one)
Check our twitter close to the date for information on which hardware and games will be on the floor, it all depends on Seth's laziness as well as what hardware is currently working.
Beat the night's "impossible challenge" score for a free drink!
Free entry. Everybody and all languages welcome.
It's totally fine to come without signing up here, as that's how we've been doing it in the past, but signing up does help us to know how many people to expect so please do!
Drinks (and sometimes food, Akiko's menu changes) will be available for purchase, all sales support the event.
C2 News:
Last event's "impossible challenge red button" uh, 'feature', was a lot of fun, so will be bringing that back. Will be testing a new feature that shows live feeds of games people are playing on the main TV too.
One of the games will be multiplayer Donkey Konga on the Gamecube by request, will choose the rest later!
Notes and misc:
Bicycle parking available. Non-smoking.
Please be considerate of noise levels if outside, for our neighbors’ sake. Better to chat inside the building than out on the street. (We've never had complaints, but want to keep it that way!)
