C2 Gamedev Meetup (March)

What is this and who is it for?

This event is for indie game developers (or anyone into gamedev) to hang out, chat, share their work & see others' stuff too.

Fee: Free

Can I bring my own food/drink?

No, sorry. Please don't bring in outside food or drink. There will be a menu with beer & wine as well as healthy non-alcoholic options. All sales support this event.

We're planning to order some pizza around 8 pm and sell slices.

(note: currently we're only able to accept cash payments)

Do I have to be there exactly at the starting time?

Nope! Feel free to come late or come and go as needed. This is all pretty relaxed. As if anyone can control indies.

What if I sign up but later can't make it?

No problem, but please mark yourself as not-attending, if anyone is on the waiting list, they will get automatically moved to the attending list.

Will there be talks/presentations?

While we have nothing official planned, you're more than welcome to setup your laptop on a table and show off your stuff. Just yell at Seth if you need a closer power outlet or other accommodations.

Beware of Google maps being wrong!

There are two addresses in Kyoto with our address (different postal code), so if you type the address into Google/etc make sure it's the one that's a few blocks from Gojo station. To avoid problems, search for "C2 Kyoto" instead - or click the map on this page, or visit www.c2kyoto.com which has a map as well.

Allergy warning: We have a friendly cavalier named Ten-chan.

Bicycle parking available. (just park 'em anywhere on the driveway in front of our building)

Non-smoking.

Please be considerate of noise levels if outside, for our neighbors’ sake. Better to chat inside the building than out on the street. (We've never had complaints, but want to keep it that way!)
