Mass Production

What have we lost now that everything is mass produced? And what have we gained?

The original topic could well be extended to other scientific/engineered items, such as antibiotics, cars, computers, heart transplants, and digital cameras. When would you wish you could have lived (including now)?

We may be in the large circular room to the right of the stairs, rather than the room to the left of the stairs (305), if we can snag the former.

Note that we will not be meeting the Monday before Thanksgiving.
