Controlled and competitive pickup basketball games!
WHEN: Every Monday 7-9pm at Momentous in Irvine
RULES: 10 min games, 2's and 3's to 21 (we have a scoreboard)
You won't sit longer then 10 minutes in between games (15 players max)
PLAYERS: It's a great group of guys and sometimes girls. Most players have at least high school or college experience, however we still have some beginners that come out and fit in just fine. As long as you play good enough defense, take good shots and are willing to pass and play as a team, you should fit right in. Please don't come out if you're trying to play ISO ball the whole time, are overly aggressive, or yell at other players. We are competitive and play hard, however we're also just playing for fun and have a relaxed environment.
HISTORY: We've been playing every Monday for 2 years at Momentous now. In that span, we've had no fights or major injuries, just fun quality basketball. We're always excited to have new players out and join our community.
FIRST TIME: Reach out to me via phone if you're interested in coming out. (5303561453). It's $15/player to reserve the court each week with no long term commitment. Just let me know before Monday if you're down to play that week and Venmo me the $15 to save your spot. The earlier the better since it's first come first served and I cap it at 15 players. If I don't know you're coming and we already have 15 I won't let ya play unless someone leaves, so please give me a heads up! Thanks.
When you walk into Momentous, there is a flatscreen that shows what court were on. It's under Curtice Schabarum or Curtice Basketball. No need to check into the front desk, you can just walk right in.
