CT Arts, Crafts, & Creative Community Group(CACAAL) is a welcoming space for people who enjoy making, sharing, and exploring creativity together. Our group brings together artists, crafters, makers, and anyone looking for community through creative expression, whether you are experienced, just getting started, or simply curious.
We gather both virtually and in person, creating opportunities to connect in ways that are flexible, engaging, and accessible. Through meetups, workshops, shared projects, and creative conversation, we aim to build meaningful relationships while celebrating art, crafts, and the many ways creativity brings people together.

CACAAL also looks beyond the studio or craft table. We plan outings to galleries, museums, art-related events, and demonstrations, giving members a chance to experience creativity in the wider community. Along the way, we hope to learn more about our fellow local artists, explore what is currently trending in the arts, and enjoy conversations that may include a little art history, inspiration, and even travel.
This is a group for people who value community, self-expression, learning, and collaboration. Whether your interests include painting, collage, fiber arts, mixed media, writing, DIY projects, or simply being part of a creative circle, there is a place for you here.
