About us
We are a fun bunch of different people who like to get together and play cards. Many of us came from the mid-west where Euchre is best known, but we teach a lot of people from all over and from this area too.
We require an updated photo of yourself for membership so in the future we will be able to identify you if you want to join the private tournament group.
We meet a couple of times a month for social events. On the first Thursday and the 3rd Tuesday. Our social events are currently held at 1 restaurant. You can find more details in the description of the events. Our tournaments are held in people’s homes, so we don't allow new members to attend right away. It is a separate group, Chattanooga Area Euchre Tournament Group. If you've attended socials for a while and would like to attend a tournament, contact an organizer and they will invite you to join the group if you've gotten to know the host(s) of the tournament. The group is private to protect our members privacy when they host events in their home. Thank you for your understanding.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU GO INTO THE Meetup APP AND MAKE SURE YOUR SETTINGS ALLOW YOU TO GET NOTIFICATIONS. Here are the steps to do that. If you don’t, you may not get notifications of cancellations and change of venues at the last minute. Step 1) Open app Step 2) click on your picture on the top right corner of app Step 3) click on settings gear on top right corner Step 4) turn on Push notifications turn on Email updates. Now you should get all of the notifications that we send out about events and cancellations etc. If you don’t use the app, this also can be done on your PC too with slightly different steps. If you have any trouble, feel free to reach out to any of our organizers via the Meetup Messaging tools.

2nd Monday of the Month Social
Miller's Ale House Hamilton Place, 2119 Gunbarrel, Chattanooga, TN, USWe are at Miller's Ale Restaurant for the third Monday of this month. Hope you all can join us. Carlos will be the main host for this social night.
Miller's Ale has variety menu and large drink menu. During Football season, we will have them put on the game that night.If you can't attend please remember to cancel by 10:30 am if possible.
It is very important that you go into your settings and make sure that you set them to receive group emails etc. so that you get reminders and especially notifications of cancellations of social events and tournaments.We meet from 5:30-8:00ish pm. Some come earlier and some stay later. We will be in one of the rooms to the right of the entrance. Just ask the staff or listen for the loud euchre players and you'll find us or go to the left upon entering and look for neon sign saying Back Room. There is free parking in the front and the side of the restaurant.
Monday nights are great for all level of players from beginners to advanced. New to Euchre and don't know how to play? Then this Monday event is just for you! We will be happy to teach you. We play “a card laid is a card played” except in the case of a renege. If a renege occurs, it can be corrected before the next trick is led without penalty. When discovered, the opposing team receives 2 points (4 points if it is a loner hand) immediately and the play comes to an end. We also play “stick the dealer.” We play a card laid is a card played.
